UNION TO VOTE ON
RETIREMENT AGE
The retirement board of the WDW is holding
open discussions prior to making a decision as to the appropriate age for
a working dog to retire. The general feeling is that a sliding scale
should be adopted with differing retirement ages for different breeds.
But Hairy Hidebount, candidate for union president has asserted that the
only consideration should be the amount of contributions made by individuals.
He says that the long suffering middle classes should get an assessment
break, and while certain celebrities were able to attain membership as
working models and demanded to retire at age 10 (see

), other hard working dogs in civil and police departments, had to
