WORKING  DOG  WONDERS    Special edition  no. 2  April 15 , 2000    MEMBERSHIP  PREPARES  FOR  MORE  INSURANCE  PROBLEMS
Following a bulletin from Local 863, Yarmouth, Massachusetts, the insurance committees called a special meeting and debated through the night on the feasability of acquiring litigation insurance.  Although no consensus was arrived at it seems certain that the exising litigation funds will be inadequate to cover law enforcement members if a recently brought lawsuit is a harbinger of things to come:
